This is a must-see for all fans of Peter Jackson and his vision of The Hobbit. His video blogs have been absolutely wonderful to see, and this latest one is no exception. Rest assured this isn’t exactly an old video, even though the movie releases in less than a month; he explains early on in the featurette that they expect to finish all of the post-production work about two days before the premiere. Hopefully.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey is slated to hit theaters on December 14, 2012.  The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug will be released Dec. 13, 2013; the third installment in the series, The Hobbit: There and Back Again, will hit theaters July 18, 2014.
