Tonight is the night that the first “regular” episode of Syfy‘s Defiance airs, and I’m a fan. We continue to learn about the world as it has been affected by the terraforming and the alien immigrants, and we see alliances beginning to form. Don’t miss it.

Here are a few sneak peeks for you, including the first four minutes if you’re so inclined, as well as a couple of featurettes from the leading Castithans in Defiance, which give some insight into the episode.

But first, Syfy has just posted a recap of the series premiere, and it looks like it will be a regular feature. I hope so. It’s presented as a radio broadcast by the character with the best hair of the cast, Alak Tarr, who also DJ’s the local radio station:
