George Lucas Needs Technology To Catch Up To His Imagination

I wonder what else George Lucas has in his garage. Oscar-winner, Lucas touts that he already has fifty hours worth of scripts at the ready for a live-action Star Wars TV series. But the world isn’t ready for such awesomeness. Lucas is waiting for technology to catch up to his imagination before even embarking on this project.

Well, it’s mostly for budgetary reasons that he’s waiting. When Lucas talked with G4’s AOTS, he is searching for “a different type of technology we can use so it’s economically feasible to shoot the shows.”

This live-action television series will take place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. Will you guys be going to see Star Wars re-released in glorious 3-D next year?
