Actress/Model, Gemma Ward (The Strangers) has joined the cast of the Rob Marshall directed, Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides. The actress will reportedly have a small speaking part as a mermaid in the film. Nothing more specific about her character has been released.

CourierMail is reporting that even though the film is scheduled to start shooting this week, Ward won’t shoot her scenes until August.
