The latest casting news for both HBO’s “Game of Thrones” and Fox’s “Fringe” draw from the same inspiration. “The Wire” actors Aidan Gillen and Andre Royo have been tapped for sci-fi/fantasy universes. Gillen (“Shanghai Knights”), pictured above left, will play Littlefinger, a scheming advisor to King Robert, in “Game of Thrones”. Royo (“Heroes” as man with the ability to create black holes), pictured above right, will guest star on “Fringe” as Henry, a “soulful taxi driver who enters into a tense situation” with Special Agent Olivia Dunham (Anna Torv) in the season premiere.
