Game of Thrones Actor Joins Guillermo del Toro’s Supernatural Flick, MAMA

White Walkers beyond The Wall aren’t the only supernatural creatures surrounding Game of Thrones actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. Coster-Waldau, who plays Jaime Lannister on the hit HBO show based on the George R.R. Martin fantasy series, has found himself within supernatural circumstances again.

According to Variety, Coster-Waldau has landed the male lead in Mama, a supernatural horror flick produced by Guillermo del Toro with Universal Pictures. The feature film is based on the 2008 short film by Andres Muschietti who is also directing the project.

Mama follows “the story of a couple, played by Jessica Chastain [above] and Coster-Waldau (Headhunters, New Amsterdam), who take in their long-lost young nieces and nephews. The kids were found after living in the forest for five years but now murderous events begin to unfold and it becomes clear that a supernatural force is intent on claiming the kids.”

Great… now I won’t be able to close my eyes without seeing “Mama!” This is seriously creepy!
