Earlier this month, we brought you the news about Ray Stevenson (Thor, Punisher: War Zone, Rome) being cast as the villainous Firefly in director Jon M. Chu’s forthcoming installment in the G.I. Joe franchise, G.I. Joe 2: Cobra Strikes.

Now, Deadline reports that Joe Mazzello (The Pacific, The Social Network) has been cast in the role of Mouse. Mazello joins the aforementioned Stevenson, Channing Tatum, Dwayne Johnson, Lee Byung-hun, Adrianne Palacki, RZA, D.J. Cotrona, Elodie Young and Ray Park in the Paramount Pictures follow-up to G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra.

G.I. Joe 2: Cobra Strikes is slated to hit theaters on August 10th, 2012.
