Future Shock, FLASHFORWARD Is No More After Tonight’s Finale

Sadly, the future of ABC’s “FlashForward” is in the land of cancellation as the series will not continue after tonight’s season finale. The season closer episode entitled “Future Shock” will wrap up some plotlines, but will undoubtedly leave many other hanging in the air as the series was cancelled after the finale was filmed.

Even though this season finale abruptly ends the series, actor Jack Davenport, who plays physicist Lloyd Simcoe, states that viewers will have some degree of satisfaction with the finale:

“I don’t think it will be unsatisfying, but it will not answer all the questions. The [producers] had to be mindful that they may only get one season, so there are some satisfying wrap-ups.”
