FROZEN Attraction Coming to Walt Disney World

Having been to Walt Disney World just after Frozen opened, I expected much more of a presence there than there actually was, with only a princess meet-and-greet (and a line of epic proportions) in the Norway Pavilion of Epcot. Well news has finally come of plans for a full attraction for the royal sisters, and it carries a bit of good-news/bad-news.

The good news is, of course, that they’re planning an attraction! Hooray! For me the bad news is where Disney is planning it. According to THR, the plan is for the Frozen attraction to take over Maelstrom in the Norway Pavilion.

While I’m a huge fan of both Epcot and the Magic Kingdom, I just really would have liked for the Frozen attraction to have moved away from Epcot‘s Norway and over to the Magic Kingdom with the rest of Fantasyland.

Californians will be treated to a nightly icy transformation of Cinderella’s castle at the Magic Kingdom in Disneyland starting in November.
