From Painted Lady To Werewolf’s Sibling, Ex-HEROES Star Cast On TRUE BLOOD

Alcide’s sister has been cast! Dawn Olivieri, who played the killed-off character of the ‘Painted Lady’ empath, Lydia, on NBC’s “Heroes” has been cast as Janice Herveaux, the sister of werewolf, Alcide, on HBO’s “True Blood”. Alcide’s sis is described as “a tough-as-nails biker chick who’s somewhat protective of her younger brother” and is also into horoscopes and psychics. Watch out, Sookie! Sounds like Janice might get between Alcide and Sookie.

Olivieri’s first appearance as Janice on “True Blood” will be in season three’s fourth episode called “9 Crimes”. The actress also tried out for the role of Alcide’s ex, Debbie Pelt, but did not get that role. However, who has been cast as Debbie Pelt remains to be seen.
