From NCIS To The JUSTICE LEAGUE – Mark Harmon Talks About Playing Superman

As SciFiMafia has brought to you earlier, the animated “Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths” comes out on DVD and BluRay today. When DC Comics and Warner Bros. sought out a voice for Superman, they wanted “someone who would convey through and honesty, but also power and compassion”. Enter actor Mark Harmon. Fans know Harmon from his popular role as Agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs on the hit CBS show “NCIS”.

What is it like to play Superman? Harmon talks about stepping into the man of steel’s shoes:

“As a kid, you always wanted to dress up and play Superman. I certainly saw it as different than the character I play and what I do daily on [NCIS].

It’s a pleasure to do it, but it’s a job—you just try and do well.”
