Despite “FlashForward” being canceled by ABC, Joseph Fiennes will be plenty busy having been cast in Starz’s upcoming series “Camelot”. Fiennes who played the central character of FBI Agent Mark Benford in “FlashForward” will play the role of Merlin on a “sultry new take on the medieval exploits of King Arthur and Guinevere on ‘Camelot’”.

More casting new on “Camelot” include the announcements of Eva Green (“Casino Royale”) to play the sorceress Morgana, Jamie Campbell Bower (AMC’s “The Prisoner”, “Game of Thrones”) as Arthur, and Tamsin Egerton (“St. Trinian’s”) for the role of Guinevere.

Starz’s “Camelot” will begin production of ten episodes this month with an expected air date of early 2011.
