Back in May, we brought you the news when lead actor, Hugh Jackman dropped the news that filming would commence on The Wolverine, directed by James Mangold in August, with the film slated to hit theaters next July.

Now, SHH reports that Tao Okamoto has joined the cast as Mariko, and Rila Fukushima will portray Yukio. Additionally, Variety reports that Brian Tee (Roswell FM) and Will Yun Lee (Total Recall) have been cast in the 20th Century Fox production as a couple of baddies. Will Yun Lee will portray Kenuichio Harada (aka The Silver Samurai), and Brian Tee will play Noburo Mori, a “corrupt minister of justice”.

Also added to the cast are Hiroyuki Sanada (Lost, The Last Samurai) as Shingen, and Hal Yamanouchi (Push, Sinbad of the Seven Seas) as Yashida.

The Wolverine is slated to hit theaters on July 26th, 2013.
