First Trailer for SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN Is Deliciously Laced With Evil

On Wednesday we brought you the first banner art for Universal Pictures’ forthcoming fairytale adaptation Snow White and the Huntsman, which boasts a darker version of the tale. Now, we are so excited to bring you the first trailer for the film, and I must say that this trailer makes the Snow White and the Huntsman look deliciously evil thanks to Charlize Theron’s evil queen. Take a bite out of the trailer below!

Trailer: Snow White and the Huntsman

Go ahead, watch it a few times! This trailer leaves you hungry for more. From this trailer, we can see deployment of magic many different forms – as soldiers in the queen’s army, in the gold-drenched and shrouded specter that is the embodiment of the Mirror, and even in the glimpse of a forest troll and tree people we saw from the banner art earlier this week. I have to say, I am definitely excited to see Snow White and the Huntsman. Actress Kristen Stewart has a chance to break from her Twilight cage, and she’d better not disappoint!

In addition to the trailer, Universal released some killer character one-sheets as well. Check them out below!

Synopsis:

In the epic action-adventure Snow White and the Huntsman, Kristen Stewart plays the only person in the land fairer than the evil queen (Oscar-winner Charlize Theron) who is out to destroy her.  But what the wicked ruler never imagined is that the young woman threatening her reign has been training in the art of war with a huntsman (Chris Hemsworth, Thor) who was dispatched to kill her. Sam Claflin (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) joined the cast as the prince long enchanted by Snow White’s beauty and power.

The breathtaking new vision of the legendary tale is from Joe Roth, the producer of Alice in Wonderland, producer Sam Mercer (The Sixth Sense) and acclaimed commercial director and state-of-the-art visualist Rupert Sanders.

Snow White and the Huntsman is slated to hit theaters on June 1st, 2012.
