We haven’t heard much of anything about director Bryan Singer‘s forthcoming fantasy film, Jack the Giant Killer since way back in March, when we brought you the news that Ian McShane (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides) was cast as the Princess’ (Eleanor Tomlinson) father, King Brahmwell.

Now, Warner Bros. Pictures has released both the first trailer and the first poster for the film, starring Nicholas Hoult (X-Men: First Class) as the titular hero. Check them out below!

Synopsis:

A modern day fairy tale in which the long-standing peace between men and giants is threatened, as a young farmer leads an expedition into the giants’ kingdom in hopes of rescuing a kidnapped princess.

Jack the Giant Killer directed by Bryan Singer and starring Nicholas Hoult, Eleanor Tomlinson, Ewan McGregor, Ian McShane, Stanley Tucci, Bill Nighy, John Kassir, Eddie Marsan and Warwick Davis is slated to hit theaters on June 15th, 2012.
