We previously reported that Jake Gyllenhaal (Love and Other Drugs, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time), Vera Farmiga (Up in the Air, Higher Ground), Michelle Monaghan (Eagle Eye, Machine Gun Preacher) and Jeffrey Wright (Quantum of Solace, Cadillac Records) had joined the cast of director Duncan Jones‘ (Moon) upcoming film, Source Code.

Now, thanks to Wet Dark and Wild (via FilmSourceCode) we have our first look at the film, in the form of a shot scanned from the upcoming issue of Empire Magazine. Check it out below!

The image was part of Empire’s list of the ’10 Movies We Want to See Right Now’ and was accompanied by a release date of March 11th, 2011. They speculate that this is a UK release date, due to the magazine’s origin.

Source Code centers on a soldier who wakes up in the body of an unknown commuter and is forced to live and relive a harrowing train bombing until he can determine who is responsible for it.

Source Code is slated to hit U.K. theaters on March 11th, 2011 and U.S. theaters on April 15th, 2011.
