Once the primary cast was set, the next thing that fans of Outlander have been waiting for from production was a look at one of those castmembers in costume, on set. That wish has been granted today by Starz as they have released our first look at Sam Heughan as Jamie Fraser:

We are pleased to announce that Laoghaire MacKenzie, the young 16 year old beauty who is attracted to Jamie Fraser, will be played by Nell Hudson. Appearing to be shy and harmless at first, we eventually see her vengeful side when Laoghaire sets off a course of action that has far reaching consequences.
