Harry Potter fans are surely excited for the upcoming film, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and while Harry Potter book series author, J.K. Rowling is hard at work on her first ever screenplay for the film, Warner Bros. is rumored to have found a director.

Director of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows movies, David Yates, is supposedly linked to the film as reported by Variety. Having a familiar face behind the camera would be an excellent transition from the original series to this new endeavor.

This new movie is inspired by the text book from the Harry Potter series, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and is about its author, magizoologist, Newt Scamander. No casting has been made at this time.
