Ant Man is a great opportunity to take a classic comic book character to the big screen, and while no official casting has been announced, I’m sure we’ll start to hear something soon. Here’s what we do know so far:

The amazing Edgar Wright (The World’s End) is set to direct the Marvel Studios’ feature film Ant Man, with Joe Cornish (The Adventures of Tintin) on to write the screenplay. Here’s the official synopsis:

Biochemist Dr. Hank Pym uses his latest discovery, a group of subatomic particles, to create a size-altering formula. Though his first self-test goes awry, he develops an instrument that helps him communicate with and control insects.

Lastly, Ant Man was slated to hit theaters November 6, 2015 but Disney has moved up the date to July 31, 2015. This according to Deadline.
