Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince star Emma Watson has been cast in Marilyn Manson’s upcoming remake of Cinderella, says The Sun.
The actress, who plays Hermione Granger in the magical franchise, is thought to have signed on to play the beloved princess in a gothic retelling of the children’s fairytale.
Manson is understood to be developing a musical version of the classic story which would require Watson to make her debut screen outing as a singer.
The 19-year-old is the only member of the main Harry Potter trio not to have appeared in another movie. She recently confirmed that she would continue acting while studying at university in the States.
