Earlier this summer, we reported that Diego Luna (Y Tu Mamá También, Contraband) and Alice Braga (The Rite, On the Road, Predators) had joined the cast of Sony Pictures‘ forthcoming film Elysium, which is director Neill Blomkamp’s follow-up film to his acclaimed sci-fi hit, District 9.

Not much is known about Elysium that stars Sharlto Copley (Men in Black III), Matt Damon (True Grit, The Adjustment Bureau), Wagner Moura (Elite Squad, Elite Squad 2), William Fichtner (The Dark Knight, Drive Angry 3D) and Jodie Foster (Carnage), even now, but even though the storyline is a sketchy mystery, we’ve got some spy pics from the set in Vancouver, Canada that captured a bald Matt Damon wearing some sort of futuristic harness, limping with an injury to his abdomen.

As for the crumbs left out for the eager public desiring to know more about Elysium, there’s this viral video from the film’s fictional corporation, Armadyne, that points to colonization of another planet:
