Wow, you just can’t stop The Rock. Dwayne Johnson (Journey 2: The Mysterious Island) who is currently filming G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation, where he is portraying the legendary heavy machine gunner/cook named Roadblock has scored another great comic book-to-film role. This time, the people’s champion will be putting his big boots to Monster asses!

Deadline reports that Johnson is attached to star in the big-screen adaptation of The Monster Hunter’s Survival Guide, the comic book miniseries published by Zenescope Entertainment, and written by JP Russ. The film will be produced by Simon Kinberg‘s production company Genre Films (X-Men: First Class, Elysium).
