Chase Palmer has reportedly agreed to work on the Dune script with helmer Pierre Morel (From Paris With Love). We told you just last month that the “Taken” filmmaker boarded the Paramount project. Now, Palmer is believed to be assisting him in tackling original scribe Josh Zetumer’s screenplay.

According to THR, Morel is determined to stick close to Frank Herbert’s classic 1965 sci-fi novel. Paramount is also thought to be holding tentative hopes of turning the movie into a franchise.
