Dr. Horrible Transmattered Into 8-Bit-Land

What if “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog” were an eight-bit Nintendo game? Doctor Octoroc has transmattered Neil Patrick Harris’ character and the rest of the Dr. Horrible cast into the format of an eight-bit RPG in this video below, complete with music, sound effects, and animation of the nostalgic style.

Harris tweeted this Horrible-esque reaction to this fan–made tribute to “Dr. Horrible”:

“Brilliant. Muu haa haaa haaaa haaaa!”

While you can’t actually play the game, this vid simulates what the first act of “Dr. Horrible” would be like in this eight-bit world. The soundtrack is available for download at Doctor Octoroc’s site. Acts two and three are supposedly in the works so look for those installments the coming weeks ahead!
