Dr. Horrible Sequel To Rule The Big Screen

Woo-hoo!! According to Neil Patrick Harris, the sequel to the web hit, “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog”, aims to be a feature film. “Dr. Horrible” creators Joss Whedon along with his brothers Zack Whedon and Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen plan to make the sequel for the big screen, but nothing has been set in stone as of yet. It is still early on in the development process and scheduling will depend on the star aligning for “Horrible” stars, Nathan Fillion (“Castle”), Felicia Day (“The Guild”), and Neil Patrick Harris (“How I Met Your Mother”).

The original “Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog” was made in just five days with a miniscule budget during the writers’ strike. NPH says that it will be unlikely that the sequel will be a giant blockbuster feature, considering the original, but doesn’t think it will be a new media internet project either.

Check out what NPH had to say about the “Dr. Horrible” sequel:
