Donald Faison to Join KICK-ASS 2 as Doctor Gravity

Just a couple of weeks ago, we brought you the news when John Leguizamo (Ice Age: Continental Drift) joined the cast of the Jeff Wadlow (Cry Wolf, Never Back Down) directed and scripted follow-up to Matthew Vaughn‘s 2010 film, Kick-Ass.

Now, Deadline reports that Donald Faison (Skyline, TRON: Uprising) is set to join Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and John Leguizamo on the cast as Doctor Gravity.

In the comics, Doctor Gravity is  a college student majoring in English, who claims to be a physics professor who invented the “Gravity Pole,” a device which can make something 20 times its actual weight, or lighter than air. In actuality though it is a baseball bat covered in tin foil

In addition to the casting news, they have released the logo for the film (top of article), and it seems they may be losing the “Balls to the Wall” subtitle for the film adaptation.

Kick-Ass 2 or Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall is in development.
