DOCTOR WHO Rocks Ratings On Saturday Night


BBC America scored the highest numbers in the network’s history with the airing of “Doctor Who: The Waters of Mars” last Saturday, December 19, 2009.  This is one of the last David Tennant episodes and captured 1.1 million viewers over three airings with a record setting 663,000 viewers in the 25-54 demographic.

The remaining two “Doctor Who” specials starring Tennant are yet to air- “The End of Time” Parts One and Two air tonight and next Saturday just one day after the UK premieres.

Next year, BBC America will air new eps of “Doctor Who” with Matt Smith as the 11th Doctor.
