Doctor Who stars Matt Smith as the eleventh Doctor, Karen Gillan as companion Amy Pond, and Arthur Darvill as Rory, Amy’s husband. The premiere episode was written by showrunner Steven Moffat and will feature a guest appearance by Mark Sheppard (Supernatural, Battlestar Galactica) and Alex Kingston (FlashForward, ER) as River Song.
