The emo trend continues with Disney optioning Lauren Kate’s Young Adult novel series “Fallen” that features two fallen angels fighting over the love of a human girl for centuries. This seventeen year old girl, name Lucinda (but of course, shortened to ‘Luce’), finds herself in the middle of a love triangle between two hottie fallen angels, Daniel and Cam. Mark Ciardi (The Rookie, Miracle, Invincible) and Gordon Gray are set to produce the adaptation to film with their company Mayhem Productions.
“Fallen” is the first of a four-book series that are also included in this project. The first book has been recently released by Delacorte Books. Could fallen angels be the next sparkly vamp?
