Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, the sequel to Rise of the Planet of the Apes is slated to hit theaters later this summer on July 11th. Matt Reeves, its director, has signed on to direct the third installment, whose working title is Planet of the Apes 3.

According to Deadline, Matt Reeves will be working on the screenplay with Mark Bomback, who worked on Dawn of the Planet of the Apes as well. No release date set as of yet.
