After the news that the television adaptation for Joe Hill’s comic series Locke & Key would not be picked up by Fox for its fall season, hope was that Syfy may step in and continue development of the show. This has unfortunately not been the case and an order to dismantle the Locke & Key sets in Pittsburgh’s 31st Street Studios has been issued to be carried out at the end of the month.
This version at least of Locke & Key will not being going forward. Fox Entertainment President Kevin Reilly had stated that it was a “tough decision” not to pick up the pilot, but that there wasn’t room in the fall line-up for it.
