There are plenty of mixed emotions about the “renumbering” of the DCU coming in September. Some of the stuff planned looks pretty damn good, while some of it looks like it should have ended up in the trash bin (and somehow didn’t). Well the heavy hitters of DC Comics want you to know why the reboot is a good idea, and put together a video to talk about it. I actually agree with a lot of what they say (except the new Teen Titans stuff- that looks GAWD awful). The fact of the matter is that comic books have a lot of creative voicing coming and going through a revolving door all the time. The core of the characters can get lost in the quagmire of a host of writers’ “NEXT BIG THING” ideas.
