The first artist has been announced for the new DC Retroactive series. Handling the visual aspects of DC Retroactive Superman: the 70’s #1, will be Eduardo Barreto, whose iconic style has graced the pages of Batman, Superman, and Teen Titans books.

The first issue of the book will focus on the shenanigans of Mxyzptik and his plots against the Man of Steel!

DC Comics‘ blog, The Source has released the rest of the Retroactive ’70s artists for the #1 issues. Lined up for Batman is Tom Mandrake, Benito Gallego will draw The Flash, and J. Bone will revisit Wonder Woman.Those issues will release on July 20th. Green Lantern will be handled by Mike Grell while Andy Smith and Gordon Purcell will team up on the JLA. Expect them to hit the shelves on July 27th.
