We told you back in June about the amazing July panel fundraiser to be attended by David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson of The X-Files. No moderator, just the two of them, chatting. Heaven for X-Files fans. Here’s a quick reminder:

There is no doubt that the pairing of Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny was the stuff of legends during the run of Fox’s hit television show, The X-Files. Fans will not want to miss the chance to see the actors reunite in frank conversation as they join IBG’s summer charity event on July 30, 2011.
Foregoing an outside moderator, fans will be treated to the actors taking turns as they pose questions to one another about their entire careers, process and future plans.
Well it happened, and if you’re like us, you couldn’t make it to the event. Never fear, however, because they made a DVD out of it, and it looks like a must for any X-Files fan, especially since X-Files creator Chris Carter also ended up joining them in the discussion. Check out this trailer:

The special one and a half hour unmoderated, completely candid event takes fans behind-the-scenes with the friends and former The X-Files co-stars as they reminisce, remember, and even speculate on working together in the future. What exactly would a third movie look like, for example? Or would Anderson ever consider popping over to ‘Calfornication?’ These are just a few of the topics they take on in this very special event.
The “Conversation with Gillian Anderson & David Duchovny” took place on July 30th 2011 in front of a limited audience at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills CA. Ticket sales from the charity event benefitted SA-YES, a South African charity founded in 2008 to provide much needed support for marginalized children and young people of that region.
