DCU executive editor Dan DiDio has announced the first story-arc in Paul Levitz’s forthcoming, Legion of Super-Heroes-starring run on Adventure Comics. Levitz recently stepped down as president and publisher of DC Comics following the announcement of the creation of DC Entertainment, and is making a return to writing Legion stories after more than 20 years.
DiDio confirmed that Levitz would be taking over the writing of Adventure Comics following the conclusion of the ‘Brainiac and the Legion of Super-Heroes’ crossover.
DiDio said,
“There’s going to be a lot of Legion news coming out in the new year, but the one thing I can tell you is that Paul is working on right now, for Adventure Comics, ‘Superboy and the Legion of Super-Heroes: Secret Origin’.”
DC has used the ‘Secret Origin’ subtitle to refresh and redefine the origins of characters – including Green Lantern and Superman – over the last few years.
