10 year-old Canadian actor Dakota Goyo (Resurrecting the Champ, Defendor) has been cast as “Max” in the Shawn Levy directed, rock ’em sock’em robot drama Real Steel. In Real Steel,Hugh Jackman stars as a former boxer who gets one last shot at the title when he teams up with his long-lost son (Goyo) to train an unusual robot for the upcoming Real Steel World Championship.

Real Steel is slated to hit theaters on November 18, 2011
