Fangbangers, rejoice! HBO has officially renewed the hit show “True Blood” for a fourth season. The third season drew an audience of 5.1 million viewers with its premiere, which was an impressive 38% higher than the second season premiere.
HBO president, Michael Lombardo, is fully behind “True Blood”, saying:
“The new season of ‘True Blood’ is off to a terrific start, as enthusiasm for this unique show continues to build among both subscribers and critics. We’re looking forward to more chills from Alan Ball and his gifted team next year.”
Show creator, Alan Ball, is obviously happy for the news of the show’s renewal:
“I am beyond thrilled to be able to continue working with this amazing cast and crew. This is the most fun I have ever had.”
The fourth season of “True Blood” will air next summer on HBO with a set of twelve episodes.
