The debut issue of DC Comics‘ Brightest Day series has taken the top spot on Diamond Comic Distributors chart in April. Brightest Day #0 starts where the best selling Blackest Night miniseries left off and recounts what happens to the characters resurrected in Blackest Night.

DC Comics holds four of the five top spots, with Flash #1 in second, followed by Green Lantern #53 and Batman and Robin #11.

The fifth best selling comic of the month was Marvel‘s New Avengers #64 and Icon‘s Kick-Ass was the bestselling graphic novel, followed by Batman and Robin vol 1 deluxe hardcover and Flash: Rebirth hardcover.
