Comic-Con Opens a New Update Page

SQUEE! It’s getting closer! Comic-Con has just opened a new updates page for all of the people like me who are constantly hitting the “refresh” icon on the Comic-Con home page, willing it with the laser focus of the to-the-bone geek to COME ON, UPDATE! My first wish is that they follow their practice from the previous two years and start publishing the official schedule tomorrow, two weeks out from Preview Night. I guess this is where we’ll start looking.

Here’s the first post on Countdown to Comic-Con!

15 DAYS TO PREVIEW NIGHT!
Welcome to our new website feature, Countdown to Comic-Con! Over the next two weeks or so, we’ll clue you in on exciting things happening as we gear up for the big show which starts with Preview Night on Wednesday, July 19. Bookmark this page for regular updates, because we’ll be giving you exclusive tips, items, and previews that you can find only here at comic‑con.org! Let’s start with this item…

IT’S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE … COMIC-CON!
Yep, it’s that time again! Downtown San Diego-in the Gaslamp, clear up and down Market Street, and on Harbor Drive along the big bay all the way out to the airport-is all dressed up with Comic-Con banners. This year’s edition features the upcoming DreamWorks movie Real Steel. That’s “Noisy Boy” in the left photo and the movie logo on the right. San Diego is ready for you…are you ready for San Diego and Comic-Con?
