Just two years ago Walt Disney Pictures astonished the Comic-Con audience with just over two minutes of visual effects test footage for their planned sequel to 1982’s Tron. This year, Disney held a ninety minute panel for the Joseph Kosinski directed, Tron: Legacy. The Comi-TRON panel included Tron creator Steven Lisberger, director Joseph Kosinski, producer Sean Bailey, Garrett Hedlund (Sam Flynn), Michael Sheen (Castor), Bruce Boxleitner (Alan Bradley / Tron), Olivia Wilde (Quorra), and Jeff Bridges (Kevin Flynn / Clu 2.0).

After the panel, they unleashed around eight minutes of footage that sadly, those of us not in San Diego won’t be able to see but, they did also release the new theatrical trailer that includes tons of new footage and you can check it out below!
