Comic-Con 2010: SUPERNATURAL – To Hell And Back!

The Winchester brothers are back! The CW’s Supernatural will be returning in the fall with its sixth and much rumored final season. Things will definitely change for the beastie-hunting brothers after the wrap of the angels-versus-demons-apocalypse storyline.

Season six will bring the show back to its roots. Jared Padalecki is excited about the monster-of-the-week form:

“We’re going to get back to the show that I signed on to, and Jensen signed on to, and we’re really excited to play. We won’t forget everything that’s happened, but now that will be part of the story rather than the whole story.”

At the end of the last season, we see that Dean (Jensen Ackles) has retired and chosen to become a family man. We see Sam return to earth though it is not explained how he got out of hell. It seems that Sam was actually out of hell for a year  before contacting Dean! Padelecki explains:

“Sam wanted Dean to live in blissful oblivion. It’s a bit of a strain because Dean feels like he’s been lied to…they have some things to work out.”

So, how is Sam and Dean different now? What is Cass (Misha Collins) up to? Check out the interviews below for more spoilery goodies on Supernatural!
