San Diego’s Comic-Con International has sold out two months earlier than last year’s event, and the news has stepped up bids by other cities to attract the convention once its contract with San Diego’s Convention Center expires in 2012. Los Angeles and Anaheim are the front-runners, which both have significantly larger convention spaces than San Diego.

Comic-Con 2010 will be held from July 22-25, 2010 at the San Diego Convention Center.
