CHUCK Goes 24: NBC Orders More Than A Full Season Pickup!

Nerd Herd-ers, rejoice! We’re getting a double dose of good news here. Not only has NBC given Chuck a full-season pickup, but the network has also announced that the show is getting an order for eleven extra episodes instead of the usual back-nine order. That brings it to a total of twenty-four episodes for this fourth season!

Chuck seems to always be a bubble show, but its fan base is vocal, loyal, and NBC is taking note. The show only draws in about 6 million viewers but it has a strong 29% increase in viewership when you consider Live+7 ratings with DVR playbacks.

Angela Bromstad, President of Primetime Entertainment at NBC and Universal Media Studios, gives a nod to the fans of Chuck:

“We also are glad that ‘Chuck’ will be with us for a full season delivering its loyal, passionate audience.”
