CHUCK Fans To Demonstrate Their Loyalty Nationwide On Monday

Fans of the NBC show “Chuck” are showing their support for the show this coming Monday. A fan-coordinated effort by chucktv.net will strike at least three major cities flash-mob style to show their loyalty and enthusiasm for the show to be renewed for third season.

Heads up if you’re in Chicago, San Diego, or Seattle. “Chuck” fans will converge dressed in Buy More-esque clothing to attract attention for the show. A Philadelphia flash mob is still tentative at this point. Here are the details for each of the flash mobs from the fan site:

Chicago
Millennium Park by the Bean (aka Cloud Gate – Michigan Ave between Monroe & Randolph)
Meet at 12:15PM Central

Seattle
Seattle Center in front of the Space Needle (400 Broad Street)
Meet at 12:15PM Pacific

San Diego
Horton Plaza Park (on Broadway between 3rd & 4th; look for the Buy More flag)
Meet at 12:15PM Pacific

Philadelphia – TENTATIVE
(waiting for permission from parks dept after unfortunate events in the past few weeks)

Love Park, behind the Comcast Center at N 16th and JFK Blvd
Meet at 12:15PM Eastern

Last year, this “Chuck” fan group lead the “Finale and a Footlong” campaign that attracted national attention in their effort to save the show from cancellation. Show co-creator Josh Schwartz thinks the world of “Chuck” fans:

“Chuck fans are the most loyal, dedicated, imaginative and passionate fans any show could ever hope for. Every season they offer more proof they should be licensed and professional fans teaching other fans how it’s done. This is yet another example of their awesomeness. We are, as always, grateful and inspired to deliver a show as good to them as they are to us.”

If you want to join in on the fun, you’ll have to get in touch with the fan group. They are seriously organized, folks! They have a special video for download and a dress code to attend the event. All participants have to contact Chucktv.net by Sunday, May 2nd.
