Viewers got their first peek at new sci-fi drama “V” last night and already, the show has undergone a change at the top. “Chuck” executive producer Scott Rosenbaum has been named showrunner-executive producer of “V,” replacing Scott Peters, who will continue as an exec producer alongside Jace Hall. Also out in the shuffle is exec producer Jeff Bell, who has departed the show.
As part of the change, Rosenbaum has sealed a two-year, seven-figure overall deal with Warner Bros. TV, the studio behind “V.”
“V,” based on the 1980s miniseries, launched last night amidst strong fan buzz and solid reviews. It will air four episodes, ending with a cliffhanger before the returning in the spring for the rest of its 13-episode order.
