Chuck: A Galaxy of Farewell Season Guest Stars, and a Clip of the New Intersect in Training

Chuck is heading into its final, abbreviated season starting October 21. It is going to have a lot of help, and we don’t just mean because Morgan is now the Intersect. Just this week it was announced that Jeff Fahey – Frank Lapidus from Lost – and Justin Hartley – Oliver Queen/Green Arrow from Smallville – will be appearing in the second episode.

They join a list of geektastic stars who have signed up for this wrapup season so far, according to Zap2ItTVLine has listed these: Mark Hamill (yes, THAT Mark Hamill), Tricia Helfer (Six on Battlestar Galactica), Carrie-Anne Moss (Trinity in The Matrix trilogy), and Craig Kilborn (The Late Late Show). More stars and potential returning stars have been hinted at, but not yet confirmed.

But to help tide us all over, here’s the video that they showed us at the opening of the Chuck panel at Comic-Con – a reminder of how Morgan became The Intersect, and how they’re trying to pump up Josh Gomez for his new role:

Chuck, starring Zachary Levi, Yvonne Strahovski, and Adam Baldwin, returns for its fifth and final season on Friday, October 21  at 8/7c on NBC.
