CHRONICLE Writer Max Landis Rants About THE DEATH OF SUPERMAN


In 1992 The Death of Superman rocked American culture to it’s very core, breaking the hearts of fans and even making prime time news. Looking back from our present vantage point, we see that event as the horrible marketing strategy it was. A cheap parlor trick to get people to care about the Man of Steel again. Ironically, it worked but still we can’t look back on that event without feeling a little betrayed.

Chronicle writer Max Landis has his own thoughts on The Death of Superman, and recorded his drunken rant with the help of a few of his friends. While I disagree with the way he glossed over some of his plot points, his outrage is hilarious and he makes a fair point. Check it out below.
