CHRONICLE: 20th Century Fox Picks Up Max Landis’ Teen Superhero Script

20th Century Fox is reportedly in talks with Max Landis, the son of director John Landis (Burke and Hare) to acquire his new super-powered teens script entitled Chronicle. First-time director Josh Trank is attached to direct and will likely shoot the film in hand-held documentary-style (à la Cloverfield).

THR Reports that the story revolves around a trio of Portland teens who get exposed to a supernatural substance in the woods and start to develop super powers. At first, the friends explore their new powers together, until personal and family problems cause them to turn on each other.
