Last fall, we brought you the news when it was announced that sibling directors Andy Wachowski and Lana Wachowski (Cloud Atlas), best known for The Matrix Trilogy were heading back to their science fiction roots via their own original project entitled Jupiter Ascending.

Now, Deadline reports that Warner Bros. Pictures has offered the lead roles in hush-hush Wachowski film to Channing Tatum (G.I. Joe: Retaliation) and Mila Kunis (Oz: The Great and Powerful).

Jupiter Ascending is slated to begin production later this year. No release date has been announced.
