We got our first glimpse of Mira Sorvino in Intruders in the initial clip (or TV spot; it’s difficult to tell which) from BBC America for the upcoming series. Now we have our first look at John Simm, yes, Doctor Who‘s The Master, that John Simm, in another all-too-brief but welcome TV spot/clip:

TV Spot: Intruders – Teaser #3: John Simm and Mira Sorvino Star in New Original Series

SO wonderful to see him back on our screens, even if I’m slightly disappointed that he’ll apparently (and, I guess, understandably) not be sporting his native British accent. Ah well. Here’s a reminder of the synopsis and the Mira Sorvino clip/TV spot, followed by BBC America‘s version of the so-popular artsy conceptual teaser:

INTRUDERS is about a secret society devoted to chasing immortality by seeking refuge in the bodies of others.

A contemporary, chilling, paranormal tale set in the moody Pacific Northwest, INTRUDERS spins a fascinating and complex web of drama. As strange, apparently unrelated events start happening, multiple story-lines — a missing wife, an assassin covering his crimes, a child on the run — begin to intertwine to reveal a conspiracy that will forever change our understanding of human nature.

I’m really looking forward to this one.
